新華社北京７月２９日電公安部今天向全國(guó)公安機(jī)關(guān)發(fā)布通緝令，公開(kāi)通緝自任非法組織“法輪大法研究會(huì)”會(huì)長(zhǎng)的李洪志，并通過(guò)國(guó)際刑警組織中國(guó)國(guó)家中心局向國(guó)際刑警組織各成員國(guó)發(fā)出國(guó)際協(xié)查通報(bào)，緝拿李洪志。就此，公安部發(fā)言人接受了記者的采訪。
公安部發(fā)言人指出：“法輪大法研究會(huì)”未經(jīng)依法登記，并進(jìn)行非法活動(dòng)，宣揚(yáng)迷信邪說(shuō)，蒙騙群眾，挑動(dòng)制造事端，破壞社會(huì)穩(wěn)定。據(jù)此，中華人民共和國(guó)民政部已于７月２２日認(rèn)定，“法輪大法研究會(huì)”及其操縱的法輪功組織為非法組織，明令予以取締。
經(jīng)公安機(jī)關(guān)偵查，現(xiàn)已查明，李洪志組織、利用“法輪大法研究會(huì)”及其操縱的法輪功組織，宣揚(yáng)迷信邪說(shuō)，蒙騙他人，致人死亡。截至７月２８日，據(jù)全國(guó)３０個(gè)省（區(qū)、市）的不完全統(tǒng)計(jì)，因練法輪功致死的７４３人。同時(shí)，該組織未經(jīng)依法申請(qǐng)和許可，策劃、組織集會(huì)、示威，聚眾擾亂公共秩序等活動(dòng)，其行為已觸犯《中華人民共和國(guó)刑法》第２９０條、第２９６條、第３００條的規(guī)定，涉嫌犯擾亂公共秩序罪。
現(xiàn)人民檢察院已對(duì)李洪志批準(zhǔn)逮捕。根據(jù)《中華人民共和國(guó)刑事訴訟法》第１２３條的規(guī)定，公安部向全國(guó)公安機(jī)關(guān)發(fā)布通緝令，公開(kāi)通緝李洪志。同時(shí)，通過(guò)國(guó)際刑警組織中國(guó)國(guó)家中心局向國(guó)際刑警組織各成員國(guó)發(fā)出國(guó)際協(xié)查通報(bào)，緝拿李洪志。
Li Hongzhi is wanted
The Ministry of Public Security of the People's Republic of China on July 29 issued a wanted circular for the arrest of Li Hongzhi, head of the Falun Dafa Society and his Falun Gong organization.
The wanted circular says that Li Hongzhi, originally named Li Lai and of Han nationality, was born in Gongzhuling City of Jilin Province on July 7, 1952. Li has a junior high school education and his original home address was 12 Jing'an Street, Luyuan District, Changchun City, Jilin Province. He is now residing in the United States. His ID Card number is 220104520707361, his Chinese passport serial number is 140522510, and the number of his visa for reentry into the United States is C001106787.
Li is about 1.78 meters in height, with slanted eyebrows, single-edged eyelids, a little bit fat, and he speaks putonghua (standard Chinese) with a northeast China accent.
Li Hongzhi, head of the illegal Falun Dafa Society, is suspected of having committed the crime of disturbing public order, the spokesman for the Ministry of Public Security said in Beijing on July 29 in an interview with Xinhua.
He said that the China Central Bureau of the Interpol has also sent an aviso to the Interpol's member states for international cooperation.
The spokesman pointed out that the Falun Dafa Society is an unregistered illegal organization which has conducted illegal activities to spread superstitious and fallacious ideas to deceive the public and create disturbance, sabotaging social stability.
He said that the Ministry of Civil Affairs announced on July 22 that the society and the Falun Gong organization under his control are illegal organizations and placed them under ban.
Police investigations have shown that Li Hongzhi set up and made use of the Falun Dafa Society and his Falun Gong organization to spread superstitious and fallacious ideas to deceive the public, causing deaths of practitioners, he said.
According to incomplete statistics from 30 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities, up to July 28, 743 persons have died as a result of practicing Falun Gong.
Without applying for permits according to law, the organization has plotted and organized gatherings and demonstrations, and instigated people to disturb public order, he said, adding that these activities have gone against the 290th, 296th and 300th provisions of the Criminal Law of the People's Republic of China, constituting a crime of disturbing public order.
The people's procuratorate has approved the arrest of Li Hongzhi, the spokesman said, adding that, according to the 123rd provision of the Criminal Procedure Law of the People's Republic of China, the Ministry of Public Security has issued a wanted circular to public security departments nationwide for the arrest of Li Hongzhi, and the China Central Bureau of the Interpol has also sent an aviso to Interpol's member states for international cooperation.
