1999年7月22日國家宣布“法輪大法研究會”及其操縱的“法輪功”組織為非法組織后，我們同“法輪功”邪教組織的這場政治斗爭，已經(jīng)取得了決定性的勝利。摧毀了“法輪功”組織面上的指揮系統(tǒng)和組織體系被。基本查清了“法輪功”邪教組織的骨干。揭批了李洪志的歪理邪說和“法輪功”組織的政治本質(zhì)及其嚴重的社會危害。絕大多數(shù)“法輪功”練習(xí)者已經(jīng)覺醒。中國在打擊邪教，維護人權(quán)的正義事業(yè)中，取得了成效，積累了經(jīng)驗。
然而，李洪志這個踐踏人權(quán)、跑到美國去的邪教頭目，繼續(xù)負隅頑抗，通過國際互聯(lián)網(wǎng)和其他渠道發(fā)布指令，煽動境內(nèi)一些頑固分子借機滋事。并且，搖身一變把自己打扮成一個“人權(quán)衛(wèi)士”，與國際反華勢力相勾結(jié)，顛倒是非，倒打一耙，把中國取締“法輪功”邪教、維護人權(quán)的正義行動，誣蔑為“侵犯人權(quán)”、“干涉信仰自由”，在國際上造勢，企圖使“法輪功”問題國際化，挾洋人以反對自己的祖國。掀起一股不小的反華浪潮。
什么是人權(quán)？憲法所賦于的公民的生存權(quán)、健康權(quán)、教育權(quán)、言論、新聞、出版自由權(quán)、宗教信仰自由權(quán)等等，屬于人權(quán)范疇，必須得到維護。對于一個國家和民族來說，生存權(quán)和發(fā)展權(quán)又是最基本的人權(quán)。振興中華，使中華民族自立于世界民族之林，只有發(fā)展生產(chǎn)力，增強綜合國力，提高全體國民的物質(zhì)和文化生活水平，公民的其他權(quán)利才能得到保障。
讓我們看看李洪志和“法輪功”組織的所作所為，我們同“法輪功”邪教組織斗爭所已經(jīng)取得的成效，究竟孰是孰非，人們會一目了然。
一、“法輪功”侵害民族和國家的發(fā)展權(quán)
生存權(quán)、發(fā)展權(quán)是最基本的人權(quán)。一個民族和國家要生存、要發(fā)展并且保障公民其他基本權(quán)利，只有發(fā)展生產(chǎn)力，增強綜合國力，提高人民群眾的物質(zhì)和文化生活水平。而要做到這一點，就必須發(fā)展教育、科學(xué)技術(shù)和文化事業(yè)，使人民群眾掌握科學(xué)的世界觀、方法論，掌握現(xiàn)代文化科學(xué)知識，提高全民族的思想、文化和道德素質(zhì)。而李洪志及其“法輪大法”與國家所提倡的發(fā)展教育、科學(xué)和文化事業(yè)，提高全民族的思想、文化和道德素質(zhì)完全背道而馳。
李洪志一方面肆意攻擊現(xiàn)代科學(xué)，胡說：“人類現(xiàn)在的科學(xué)實質(zhì)上是站在一個錯誤的基點上發(fā)展起來的，對宇宙、對人類、對生命的認識都是錯誤的，所以在修煉界我們修煉的人根本就不承認現(xiàn)在的科學(xué)，認為它是個錯誤。”（《法輪佛法——在美國講法》第39至44頁）他甚至顛倒黑白，胡說“科學(xué)邪教”。反對人們學(xué)習(xí)現(xiàn)代科學(xué)知識。另一方面，他卻把“法輪大法”吹噓成“宇宙大法”、“超?？茖W(xué)”。他說，“法輪大法”“是最精深的，他是世界上一切學(xué)說中最玄奧、超常的科學(xué)?！薄罢嫔迫獭笔恰案痉鸱ā?，是“宇宙特性”，一切自然現(xiàn)象和社會現(xiàn)象不過是“真善忍”在“不同層次的不同論述”，萬事萬物都是由“真善忍”構(gòu)成的，“空氣微粒、石頭、木頭、土、鋼鐵、人體，一切物質(zhì)中都存在著‘真、善、忍’這種特性。”（《轉(zhuǎn)法輪》第1至12頁）他要求“法輪功”練習(xí)者通過各種形式千百遍地學(xué)習(xí)、抄寫、背誦他的書。個人學(xué)，集體學(xué)，還舉行“學(xué)法”、“弘法”交流會等，交流學(xué)習(xí)心得體會。他在《法輪大法義解》一書中推廣長春“萬人背書”的經(jīng)驗。他說：長春練習(xí)者“就是坐在那兒開始學(xué)，不用書，他從頭開始背，停下，另一個接著背。后來又發(fā)展成抄書。如果抄錯一個字就全部重來，全部重新抄?！薄胺ㄝ喒Α苯M織就是按照這些辦法用李洪志的歪理邪說取代真正科學(xué)知識。對“法輪功”練習(xí)者進行徹底“洗腦”，以實現(xiàn)他們對練習(xí)者的精神控制。
李洪志在剛剛起家時，確曾吹噓過練習(xí)“法輪功”可以“祛病健身”，而且還裝模做樣“發(fā)功”給人“治病”。許多“法輪功”練習(xí)者正是抱著祛病健身的目的誤入“法輪功”練功行列的。值得指出的是，即使在當時他就宣稱，“法輪大法”“不是低層次祛病健身的氣功”，只練動作不是他的“法輪大法”。他甚至把那些只練動作，不“學(xué)法”的人說成“是在傳邪法”。他一再強調(diào)“法輪大法”“重在修心性”，“修是第一位的”。所謂“修”就是“學(xué)法”?！皩W(xué)法”就是看他的書、看他“講法”的錄像帶、聽他“講法”的錄音帶。就是用李洪志的歪理邪說對練習(xí)者“洗腦”，以取代真正的科學(xué)知識，使“法輪功”練習(xí)者的精神和行為完全被李洪志及其歪理邪說所控制，失去思想自由，喪失辨別是非的能力，成為任李洪志和“法輪功”邪教組織所擺布、驅(qū)使的工具。所謂“練功”“祛病健身”都不過是他誘騙人參加“法輪功”邪教一件美麗的外衣和甜蜜的誘耳。
許多練習(xí)者自從練上了“法輪功”，花了相當多時間和精力看李洪志的書，看錄像帶，聽錄音帶，荒廢了學(xué)習(xí)，影響本職工作。許多練習(xí)者對家人和親朋的勸說不僅聽不進去，反而覺得這些人是常人，業(yè)力太大，緣分太淺，甚至是受另外空間“魔”驅(qū)使，來動搖他們對“大法”的堅定。因此淡漠了親情，影響甚至斷絕了與家人、親朋的正常親情關(guān)系，造成了許多家庭親朋不睦。不少人相信李洪志說的人類道德已經(jīng)淪喪到了危險邊沿，地球上充滿了“罪惡”、將要“爆炸”之類的邪說，認為不需要對社會承擔(dān)任何責(zé)任，唯有自己修煉，提高“層次”，盡快“脫離”這個罪惡的地方，才能“得正果”，“成圓滿”。因而，心里只有“法輪功”，周圍一切與自己無關(guān)，待同事冷若冰霜，對國家大事不聞不問。不少人癡迷于李洪志的歪理邪說，把它看作是“宇宙的最高真理”，把李洪志看作“宇宙最高的神”，不敢對李洪志有半點不敬，甚至不敢直呼其名，否則擔(dān)心受到懲罰，會“形神全滅”。李洪志及其歪理邪說完全占領(lǐng)了練習(xí)者的身心。因而，一切聽任李洪志和“法輪功”組織的擺布，不惜為李洪志和“法輪功”組織效力賣命。有的人為了“護法”，全然置社會安定和國家法律于不顧，參加了圍攻新聞單位、黨政機關(guān)等聚眾事件，做出非法違法的事情。即使走到這一步，他們還不以為恥，反以為榮，不覺可悲，反認為是在經(jīng)受“考驗”、提高“層次”。那些中毒很深的練習(xí)者，由于長期沉迷于李洪志的歪理邪說和“法輪功”所營造的與社會隔離的環(huán)境中，完全失去了正常人的思想模式，喪失了對是非、善惡、好壞、榮辱、正義與非正義等等的正確判斷能力。有的整天懵懵懂懂，有的精神失常，有的自殘、自殺，有的參與非法違法活動，有的甚至走上殺人犯罪道路。
少年兒童正處在長身體、長知識的時期，他們閱歷淺，思想不成熟，如果他們也被誘騙練起“法輪功”，迷上了李洪志的歪理邪說，將對他們的身心健康造成極大的傷害，后果不堪設(shè)想。例如，河北省承德市不滿18歲李亭，因練“法輪功”走火入魔，殺死了自己的親生父母。李亭的家原本是一個和睦溫馨的家，李亭也是一個聽話懂事的孩子。1997年因為沒有考上重點中學(xué)，思想苦悶，避暑山莊偶然看到有人在練“法輪功”，出于好奇也加入了練功行列。這個缺乏社會閱歷、尚無是非判斷能力的少年，受李洪志歪理邪說的愚弄，逐漸達到癡迷的程度。床頭貼上了李洪志的“法像”，購買了“法輪功”書籍，沉迷于李洪志的歪理邪說而不能自拔。后來，發(fā)展到神情恍惚，出現(xiàn)幻視、幻覺，稱自己“開了天目”，能時?？吹健叭紵幕鹎颉保鹊?。李亭的母親發(fā)現(xiàn)兒子精神不正常，帶領(lǐng)他到北京精神病院診治，他竟死活不進醫(yī)院大門，硬說自己沒病。他認為自己已經(jīng)“悟出了宇宙真理”，就是“佛”了。同時，認為父母是“魔”，他要“除掉兩個魔”，“度魔成佛”。1999年3月20日凌晨，李亭趁父母熟睡，用30多厘米的尖刀殺死了自己的親生父母，演出了一幕滅絕人性的慘劇。李洪志和“法輪功”邪教組織不僅葬送了少年李亭美好的前程，而且制造了一起血案，毀掉了一個幸福的家庭。
李洪志和“法輪功”邪教組織的這種倒行逆駛，不僅違反人性，違反人們對真理的追求，毒害人們的心靈，使人們放棄對現(xiàn)實美好生活的熱愛，追求那虛無飄渺的“法輪世界”；而且，影響了社會安定，危害國家和民族的利益。幾百萬人處于迷信愚昧的精神狀態(tài)，已經(jīng)是民族的一個悲劇。如果出現(xiàn)如李洪志所說那樣“圓滿”的“壯舉”，世界各地邪教謀殺群眾的慘劇就會在中國的重演。李洪志在歐洲法會上“講法”時說：“我也想在你們圓滿的時候給人類帶來一個壯舉”，“叫所有大法弟子不管要不要身體，都帶著身體飛上天，不要身體的在空中虹化掉，然后飛走。這樣會造成一種歷史上從來沒有的輝煌，給人留下一個深刻的教訓(xùn)。人不相信神，讓神真實的體現(xiàn)給人看?！保ā斗ㄝ喎鸱ā跉W洲法會上講法》第94至95頁）每一個思維正常的人都可以想見，這是一種多么可怕的情景！如果聽任“法輪功”邪教繼續(xù)蔓延，必將把國家和民族推向落后愚昧的深淵，葬送民族和國家的前程，中華民族就會再次回到黑暗的封建社會和任人牢割的殖民地時代。
二、“法輪功”侵害公民的健康權(quán)
人權(quán)中最基本的權(quán)利就是生命權(quán)。一個人如果身體不健康，生存也成了問題，甚至連生命都不存在了，其他的任何權(quán)利都無從談起。李洪志所編造的“法輪大法”尤其是其中的“消業(yè)說”公然踐踏公民的健康權(quán)和生命權(quán)。
“消業(yè)說”是李洪志歪理邪說的重要內(nèi)容，是控制練習(xí)者的一種重要手段和精神毒品。李洪志說，人有病和一切不幸都是“前世業(yè)力”造成的，“造成他（指人們）有病和所有不幸的根本原因是業(yè)力，那個黑色物質(zhì)業(yè)力場。”“它（指業(yè)力）是導(dǎo)致人有病的根本原因，這是最主要的一種病的來源?！鄙喜∷馈岸际怯幸蚓夑P(guān)系的，都是業(yè)力回報，你欠了債就得還?！保ā掇D(zhuǎn)法輪》第251至255頁）有病是在“消業(yè)”，看病吃藥會把“業(yè)力”壓回去，就不能“消業(yè)”、“上層次”?！澳闶浅惺芰撕艽蟮牟×?，所以你自身的業(yè)力也要得到轉(zhuǎn)化。因為你付出了，承受多大，轉(zhuǎn)化多大，都變成德?！薄八械膱?zhí)著心，只要你有，就到在各種環(huán)境中把它磨掉?！薄澳銏?zhí)著于那些東西，你就修煉不出來。”（《轉(zhuǎn)法輪》第139至140頁）要“消業(yè)”、上“層次”，就要去掉看病的“執(zhí)著心”。如果“你吃藥把這業(yè)力又壓回去了，怎么給你清理身體呢？”又說：“煉功的人的功自動就在消滅病毒和業(yè)力”等等。李洪志到處鼓吹這一套“消業(yè)說”，并親自授意“法輪功”組織炮制了練習(xí)“法輪功”有祛病健身奇效的假報告、假病例、假故事，愚弄欺騙“法輪功”練習(xí)者。在“法輪功”致練習(xí)者死亡的1400多例中，有不少人就是這樣被葬送了自己的生命權(quán)。還有更多的人延誤了治療，使病情進一步加重。以下幾個案例會使人們得到啟示。
江蘇啟東服裝廠退休職工張玉琴，從1995年10月開始練習(xí)“法輪功”，相信李洪志所說的有病是“前世業(yè)力造成的”，“有病是在消業(yè)”，有病不就醫(yī)吃藥，最后病痛難忍，思想崩潰，于1998年1月23日用刀片割斷頸動脈，因失血過多，死在了自家的衛(wèi)生間。
遼寧省撫順市露天礦地質(zhì)設(shè)計科原科長柏常裕（62歲），1997年開始練習(xí)“法輪功”，相信李洪志的練功人有病是在“消業(yè)”，不看病不吃藥，子女多次勸他到醫(yī)院檢查，都被他拒絕。1999年4月病情加重，仍不到醫(yī)院檢查。同他一起“學(xué)法”練功的妻子說：“練‘法輪功’能治病，不用到醫(yī)院檢查，要堅強，咬牙就能挺過去?！辈⒛弥胺ㄝ喒Α钡臅f：“你看，現(xiàn)在李洪志就在你身邊，幫助你消業(yè)，讓你脫胎換骨，保佑你躺一個月就好了。”子女堅持將他送到醫(yī)院，他仍拒絕治療，于5月3日死亡。
家住北京市宣武區(qū)虎坊路的張賀如，1996年開始練“法輪功”，達到癡迷程度。1998年6月病情加重，整天吐，吃不進飯。不吃藥，也去看病，說“犯病是好現(xiàn)象”，是“老師給我消業(yè)呢，挺過去病就好了”。一直拖到9月26日，她實在挺不住了，全家人好說歹說勸她進了醫(yī)院，一查是腸癌中晚期。整整耽誤了105天。
李洪志的這一套妖言邪說，是完全違反科學(xué)常識，是地地道道的瘋?cè)肃嬲Z。李洪志是十分清楚這一點的。他和他的家人得了病不僅吃藥，他本人就去醫(yī)院動了闌尾切除手術(shù)。李洪志編造出這一套妖言邪說，完全有他不可告人的目的。
那些有病不治療、不吃藥的練習(xí)者，似乎都是“自覺自愿”的。然而，這些貌似“自覺自愿”的行為，實質(zhì)上是受到李洪志及其“法輪大法”的精神控制而失去自我意識的表現(xiàn)。罪魁禍首是李洪志，他們本人則是李洪志及其“法輪大法”的直接受害者。
尤其令人不能容忍的是，李洪志反而誣蔑那些死亡于他的邪說的練習(xí)者是“魔在破壞大法”。他在《法輪大法義解》一書中說：“最不好辨別的就是這種魔，它的破壞力是很大的。它也來學(xué)法輪大法，……然后他一下子死了，或者他一下子走向相反的路了，來破壞法輪大法?！睆倪@里人們可以看出，這個以“真善忍”相標榜的“大師”，絕不是人權(quán)衛(wèi)士，而是一個毫不人性可言、殺人不用刀的神漢巫醫(yī)；他所鼓吹的“法輪大法”絕不是濟世良藥，而是一劑毒害人們心靈的精神毒藥，“法輪功”是人類社會的一大毒瘤。
三、“法輪功”侵害公民的生存權(quán)
同一切邪教頭目一樣，李洪志為了欺騙群眾，達到他不可告人的目的，極力神化自己，宣揚他有超自然的“神力”?！伴_天目”、“裝法輪”、“法身保護”等等，就是李洪志這個邪教頭目“神力”，是他愚弄和控制練習(xí)者的一套謊言、騙術(shù)和精神毒藥。它會把一個精神正常的人變成一精神病態(tài)的人，甚至最終剝奪了練習(xí)者乃至他人的生存權(quán)。
李洪志宣揚他可以給人“開天目”。他在《轉(zhuǎn)法輪》一書中說：“我們講的開天目就是避開人的視神經(jīng)，在人的兩眉之間給打出一條通道來，使松果體直接向外看，這就叫開天目?！薄疤炷繉哟魏芨叩娜怂梢酝高^我們的空間看到另外的時空，可以看到常人看不到的景象；層次不高的人可以有穿透力，隔墻視物，透視人體”。他說：“一般人很難自己修煉開天目，多是師父給開的。”就是說要由他給練習(xí)者“開天目”?，F(xiàn)代科學(xué)證明，松果體不過是內(nèi)分泌腺，不是視覺器官。人是通過眼睛接受外界圖象、經(jīng)視神經(jīng)傳導(dǎo)給大腦皮層而獲得視覺的。所謂“開天目”純屬無稽之談。
李洪志宣稱他能夠給“法輪功”練習(xí)者小腹部“裝法輪”。他在《轉(zhuǎn)法輪》等書中宣稱“法輪”是“宇宙的縮影”，是一個“能自動吸收和發(fā)放宇宙能量的靈體”?！皟?nèi)旋變己，外旋度人”，“法輪度己度人，是法輪大法的特點?！彼逝撜f：“法輪是一個靈體，它是經(jīng)過多少代人才形成的，歷代單傳，從來不傳外人。我現(xiàn)在在一個特殊的歷史環(huán)境下，把它拿來傳人?！保ā掇D(zhuǎn)法輪法解》第43頁）又說：“這個法輪太珍貴了，是不能用價值來衡量的。沒有緣分的人你花多少多少億也買不來?！薄八饶愕纳€高級?！保ā斗ㄝ喎鸱ā谙つ嶂v法》第66頁）“我給修煉者下在小腹部位的法輪每天24小時旋轉(zhuǎn)不停（真修者讀我的書，或看我的講法錄像，或跟著大法學(xué)員學(xué)煉也能獲得法輪）。也就是說修煉者雖然沒有時時在煉，而法輪卻在不停的煉人?！保ā斗ㄝ喎鸱ù髨A滿法》第4頁）“法輪”不過是李洪志盜用道教的太極圖和佛教的萬字符所拼湊的一種圖形，作為“法輪功”的一種標識和圖記，它無任何實際意義，不是什么“實體”，更不是什么“靈體”，他絕不可能給任何人的體內(nèi)“裝法輪”。“裝法輪說”同樣是無稽之談。
李洪志宣揚他有無數(shù)的“法身”，他的“法身”可以保護練習(xí)者。他謊稱“全世界只有我一個人有法身”，“我有無數(shù)的法身，和我長得一樣”，“他的智慧完全是打開的，法力像佛一樣，主體在我這里，他們自己有獨立做事的能力，他們會看護你，保護你，幫你演化功，做一些事情。其實他就是我的化身，所以我就能保護你?！保ā斗ㄝ喎鸱ā谙つ嶂v法》第70頁）“這本書（指《轉(zhuǎn)法輪》）里邊每個字都是我的法身，每個字都是我的法身的形象。每個字都是佛的形象。我有無數(shù)的法身，我的法身不能用數(shù)字來計算。”“多少人我都能管，全人類我都能管。”“所以你修煉，只有一動念，我的法身就知道?！保ㄍ?，第105至106頁）“法身”一詞來源于佛教，是指釋迦牟尼所傳教法的人格化，相當于佛法的精神和原則，無形象，也無數(shù)量。李洪志曲解佛教“法身”的原意，并為自己所用，宣揚一套騙人的“法身說”，愚弄群眾。李洪志自己清楚，他根本沒有什么“法身”。當中國政府發(fā)出通輯令后，他露出一副奴才相乞求洋人保護，他連自己也保護不了，也絕保護不了任何人。
然而，李洪志的這些謊言、邪說和騙術(shù)卻毒害了無數(shù)“法輪功”練習(xí)者，還使許多練習(xí)者出現(xiàn)幻視、幻覺、幻想，精神失常，自殘、自殺，有的走上殺人的犯罪道路，制造了一幕幕人間悲劇，給練習(xí)者個人、家庭和社會帶來不幸，造成嚴重的社會惡果。
重慶市開縣天白鄉(xiāng)工商所干部高恩誠（男，42歲），1997年11月開始練習(xí)“法輪功”，逐漸變得少言寡語，很少與人交往，堅信修煉“法輪功”達到一定程度，就可以“開天目”，就會“三花聚頂”、“生原嬰”、“死后升天”。1998年11月2日，高恩誠將銀行存款取出，分給女兒、岳父、岳母，說自己已經(jīng)“成仙”。并對人說，他夢見妻子李小芬前世是一條大蛇，今世是毒蛇變的。6日上午10時，高恩誠稱：“人之初，性本善，你們都沒有學(xué)懂，我才學(xué)了一年‘法輪功’，思想就達到了頂點?！薄拔也慌c你們凡人說，只有我的兒子高雄理解我?！备叨髡\在自己樓上練功后，抱著自己的兒子高雄從四樓跳下摔在壩子上。他所在單位工商所立即叫來醫(yī)生搶救，與他一起練功的妻子李小芬還竟然說“李洪志能保護他”，不讓醫(yī)生搶救。高恩誠因搶救無效死亡，孩子經(jīng)搶救算脫離危險。
謝立（女）是重慶鋼鐵（集團）有限公司的一位教師，因患心臟病抱著強身健體的想法，于1997年10月開始練習(xí)“法輪功”。謝立相信李洪志的歪理邪說，達到癡迷的程度，并出現(xiàn)幻視、幻覺。1999年1月27日，她突然告訴家人，自己“開了天目”，“看到李洪志老師在天上召喚我”。精神恍惚，口中念念有詞，發(fā)展到三天三夜不吃不喝，1月29日中午，謝立趁丈夫周安不注意，縱身從10層樓高的陽臺往下跳，丈夫慌亂中只抓住了她的一只袖子，眼睜睜看著她墜樓身亡。
華北油田退休職工馬建民練習(xí)“法輪功”兩年左右，達到癡迷的程度，后來出現(xiàn)精神恍惚和失常，堅持認為自己的腹部有個“法輪”。1998年9月4日，馬建民在家中用剪刀剖腹尋找，導(dǎo)致死亡。
以上只是李洪志的妖言邪說致人精神失常，自殘、自殺的幾個事例，這足以使人們看清李洪志和“法輪功”邪教組織踐踏人性、人權(quán)的本質(zhì)。
四、“法輪功”侵害公民言論新聞出版自由權(quán)
言論、新聞、出版自由是憲法規(guī)定公民的基本權(quán)利，是人權(quán)的重要內(nèi)容。李洪志和“法輪功”組織的所作所為，完全踐踏了這一原則。李洪志和“法輪功”組織一方面為所欲為，濫用這一權(quán)利，違反法律規(guī)定非法出版李洪志的書籍、錄像帶、錄音帶，到處辦班，舉行報告會，宣傳李洪志的歪理邪說；另一方面，卻肆意踐踏這一原則，侵犯其他公民言論、新聞、出版自由權(quán)，不允許人們有不同意見，不允許人們批評李洪志和“法輪大法”，不允許報刊發(fā)表批評他們的文章。對李洪志和“法輪功”的任何批評都被誣篾為“魔在破壞大法”，煽動練習(xí)者以“護法”為名，誣蔑攻擊敢于批評他們的人，非法圍攻黨政機關(guān)、新聞單位。
從李洪志的“法輪功”一出臺，就曾遭到一些人的抵制。李洪志歪曲“魔道相生相克”的原義，編造了“魔破壞大法說”，以堅定練習(xí)者的心，同時打擊別人。1996年7月，國家新聞出版署根據(jù)群眾揭發(fā)和法律規(guī)定，對李洪志的《轉(zhuǎn)法輪》等5種書籍組織專家審讀者，作出收繳、停售、封存的處理決定 。光明日報以此發(fā)表了揭露“法輪功”的文章，李洪志和“法輪功”組織十分恐慌。他無視政府主管部門的依法管理，繼續(xù)揮舞“魔在破壞大法”的大棒，一方面要求練習(xí)者“經(jīng)受住考驗”，煽動說“怕什么，頭掉了身子還在打坐”。另一方面，直接組織、策劃和指揮下一系列反政府活動，制造了一起又一起破壞國家法律實施、侵犯言論新聞出版自由、危害社會安定的聚眾鬧事事件。
據(jù)不完全地統(tǒng)計，由李洪志和“法輪功”組織策劃組織的圍攻新聞單位和黨政機關(guān)的聚眾鬧事事件就有300多起，300人以上的全國范圍滋事事件就達78起。以萬人圍攻中南海為例，絕不是像李洪志之流所宣揚的“討公道”，像國外某些“人權(quán)衛(wèi)士”所說的“和平請愿”、“和平示威”，而是李洪志及“法輪功”組織所精心策劃的反自由、反民主、反人權(quán)、反科學(xué)、反社會、反政府的一起違法事件。“4·25”事件的直接起因，是1999年4月天津師范大學(xué)《青少年科技博覽》雜志發(fā)表了一篇何祚庥院士寫的《我不贊成青少年練氣功》的文章。文章對青少年練氣功提出一些不同看法，客觀地講了一些事實和道理，其中點到“法輪功”。就是這樣一個面向青少年的不知名的小雜志，一篇由中科院院士對青少年進行科普教育的小文章，以“真善忍”相標榜的李洪志和“法輪功”組織，竟欺騙、煽動和組織6000多名練習(xí)者從4月19日至23日，連續(xù)5天圍攻該雜志編輯部。無理要求為李洪志和“法輪功”恢復(fù)名譽，追究作者和編輯的責(zé)任，如數(shù)收回已經(jīng)發(fā)售的刊物，停發(fā)未發(fā)出的刊物，并在該刊上刊登向李洪志和“法輪功”賠禮道歉的聲明。從這里人們可以清楚的看出，在李洪志和“法輪功”組織那里根本沒有什么言論、新聞、出版自由而言，他們所要的“自由”不過是只許他們放火，不許別人點燈的自由。
對于他們這種踐踏人權(quán)，侵犯言論、新聞、出版自由權(quán)利的非法活動，政府采取了十分克制的態(tài)度，進行了耐心勸告。正是在這個時候，李洪志匆匆從美國乘飛機飛回北京，親自策劃于密室，欺騙、蒙蔽、煽動河北、遼寧、山東、黑龍江、安徽、天津和北京等地的上萬名練習(xí)者，一夜之間迅速集聚北京，非法圍攻黨中央、國務(wù)院所在地中南海，制造了震驚中外的“4·25”事件。把他踐踏人權(quán)，侵犯言論、新聞、出版自由的丑行發(fā)展到極點?！?·25”事件還是李洪志企圖奪取國家政權(quán)的一次演練。李洪志利令智昏，他們誤認為政府和人民軟弱可欺，自己羽翼豐滿，實現(xiàn)其罪惡陰謀的時機已到。他們圍攻中南海，就是妄圖把李洪志的歪理邪說強加在中國人民頭上，取代馬克思列寧主義、毛澤東思想和鄧小平理論；把李洪志這樣一個邪教頭目作為精神領(lǐng)袖強加給中國人民，以李洪志和“法輪功”組織取代中國共產(chǎn)黨，奪取國家政權(quán)，改變中國的前進方向。這在世界邪教所制造事件中也是沒有前例的。然而，李洪志和“法輪功”組織過高的估計了自己的力量，過低的估計了黨和人民的力量。到頭來搬起石頭砸自己的腳，在人民面前暴露了他的真實面目，也就注定了他必然失敗的命運。
民主和自由同屬上層建筑，是為經(jīng)濟基礎(chǔ)服務(wù)的。民主和自由是手段，而不是目的。在我們社會主義國家，絕不給那些反對黨的領(lǐng)導(dǎo)、反對馬克思列寧主義、反對社會主義制度、危害國家和人民群眾根本利益的組織和活動以自由。我國政府取締“法輪功”邪教，正是為了維護絕大多數(shù)公民的基本權(quán)利，維護社會的安定，維護國家和人民群眾的根本利益。
五、“法輪功”侵害宗教信仰自由權(quán)
中國共產(chǎn)黨是以馬克思列寧主義為理論基礎(chǔ)的無產(chǎn)階級政黨。馬克思列寧主義的辯證唯物主義和歷史唯物主義是徹底的無神論。馬克思列寧主義正確地揭示了宗教的本質(zhì)、產(chǎn)生根源和社會作用，提出了對待宗教的正確態(tài)度和政策。馬克思主義宗教觀是我們認識宗教的科學(xué)觀點和方法。宗教信仰自由政策是依據(jù)馬克思主義宗教觀結(jié)合我國具體國情，所制定的對待和處理宗教問題的一項長期的基本政策。李洪志和“法輪功”組織肆意踐踏宗教信仰自由的原則，貶低一切宗教，要人們放棄對一切宗教的信仰，改信“法輪功”邪教，在不同信仰的人們中間制造矛盾，挑起事端。
李洪志宣稱“法輪大法”不是宗教，但他卻反復(fù)將“法輪大法”與一切宗教相比，說“一切宗教都已不能度人”，唯有“法輪大法”是“最高佛法”、“宇宙大法”，是“唯一能度人上天國的梯子”。他吹噓“法輪大法”是“非常富麗堂皇的大宮殿”，而別的宗教只不過是“非常小、簡陋的房子”。他是比釋迦牟尼、耶穌基督、老子等教主高明若干倍的最高的“教主”。他要信仰各種宗教的人們放棄自己的信仰，改信他的“法輪大法”。他說：“我告訴你是怕你耽誤了。被那個不能度人的宗教耽誤了。”（《法輪佛法——在北美首屆法會上講法》第32至33頁）李洪志和“法輪功”組織大搞新的造神運動，把李洪志這樣一個胡言亂語的騙子美化成一個至高無上的新救世主，一個“具有大神通”，可“了悟宇宙真理，洞察人生，預(yù)知人類過去未來”，有無數(shù)“法身”和超自然神力，主宰人類、主宰宇宙的至高無上的神，要求練習(xí)者把他的話當作“經(jīng)文”，制造荒唐的教主崇拜，使練習(xí)者甚至于不敢直呼其名，這與黑暗愚昧、神權(quán)至上的中世紀社會沒有什么兩樣。在李洪志和“法輪功”組織中，只有崇拜李洪志的自由，只信仰其歪理邪說的自由，根本沒有宗教信仰的自由。
李洪志及其“法輪大法”尤其敵視唯物論和無神論，視唯物論和無神論如死敵。他說：“你要反對科學(xué)，雖然它不會殺死你，會群起而攻之，誰都說你是迷信，誰都說你是可笑，它還會把你從社會中貶得一錢不值。”又說：“它（指科學(xué)無神論）不能證實神的存在，它也不知道人干了壞事會有報應(yīng)，人做了好事有好報，要想做一個好人就得重德，它說你是異端邪說?！保ā斗ㄝ喎鸱ā跉W洲法會上講法》第88至91頁）馬克思主義唯物論、無神論是與科學(xué)共命運的。李洪志要把自己裝扮成一個新的至高無上的救世主，必然要遭到無神論者的批判。這是李洪志不愿看到的。所以，他用一切謊言、騙術(shù)煽動練習(xí)者反對馬克思主義的唯物論、無神論。
所謂宗教信仰自由，就是說，既有信仰宗教的自由，也有不信仰宗教的自由；既有信仰這種宗教的自由，也有信那種宗教的自由；在同一宗教里，既有信仰這個教派的自由，也有信仰那個教派的自由；既有過去不信教而現(xiàn)在信教的自由，也有過去信教而現(xiàn)在不信教的自由。由此可見，李洪志及“法輪功”組織的所言所行，完全與宗教信仰自由原則風(fēng)馬牛不相及，是侵犯公民的宗教信仰自由權(quán)。取締“法輪功”邪教組織，揭露李洪志歪理邪說，正是維護宗教信仰自由的原則，全面正確貫徹執(zhí)行宗教信仰自由政策的行動。
綜上所述，李洪志及其“法輪功”組織的所作所為，完全在踐踏人權(quán)，違反人性，危害國家和人民群眾的根本利益。它已經(jīng)給人民群眾、給社會、給國家造成了嚴重危害?！胺ㄝ喒Α苯M織比起國外邪教組織的罪行惡跡來有過之而無不及。如果聽任李洪志和“法輪功”邪教組織滋生蔓延，不及時采取措施加以取締，我們國家和民族的前途必將被斷送，改革開放二十年來所發(fā)生的變化和全國人民在物質(zhì)上、精神上的得益都將失去，中國人民的人權(quán)何從談起。
在“4·25”事件發(fā)生以后，中國政府經(jīng)過大量調(diào)查研究，在掌握了李洪志和“法輪功”組織非法違法活動的事實后，制定了正確的政策，采取了穩(wěn)妥的步驟，開展了堅決揭露和取締“法輪功”邪教組織的活動。在這場斗爭中，黨和政府嚴格區(qū)分兩類不同性質(zhì)的矛盾，把邪教頭目及其骨干同絕大多數(shù)“法輪功”練習(xí)者嚴格加以區(qū)別，即使對那些癡迷不悟的頑固分子以及有某些非法違法活動的分子，也不放棄教育，按照“團結(jié)大多數(shù)，教育大多數(shù)，轉(zhuǎn)化大多數(shù)，解脫大多數(shù)”的方針，做了大量艱苦細致的工作，使絕大多數(shù)“法輪功”練習(xí)者認清了李洪志和“法輪功”的本來面目，從邪教組織中解脫出來。我們所打擊的只是極少數(shù)有嚴重違法犯罪活動的骨干和別有用心的幕后策劃者、操縱者。中國政府取締“法輪功”邪教組織，完全是維護憲法和法律尊嚴、維護社會安定、維護全國人民包括絕大多數(shù)“法輪功”練習(xí)者的生命財產(chǎn)安全和根本利益、維護人權(quán)的正義行動。
這場斗爭的徹底勝利，必將使全國人民受一次科學(xué)唯物論、無神論教育，極大地提高全國人民對邪教的認識能力，促進我國社會主義物質(zhì)文明和精神文明的發(fā)展，同時對維護人權(quán)的崇高事業(yè)做出貢獻。任何不帶偏見的人都會得出正確的結(jié)。

Duan Qiming: See how Falun Gong trample on human right
After years' of fighting against Falun Gong since Chinese government announced on July 22, 1999 "Research Society of Falun Dafa" and the Falun Gong organization under its control to be illegal, the political struggle against Falun Gong cult has now achieved decisive victory. Through the struggle, we have destroyed the commanding system and organizational structure of Falun Gong; found out and punished Falun Gong core members; denounced Li Hongzhi's fallacies, the political ambition of the Falun Gong organization as well as its serious social impact and; the majority of Falun Gong practitioners have awakened. China's success in fighting against cults and defending human rights has accumulated a lot of experience in this regard as well.
Li Hongzhi, a cult ringleader and a human rights abuser who had fled to U.S.A, however, tried to put up a desperate struggle in the way of instigating the diehards in Mainland China to make trouble by giving them orders through internet and some other channels. In the meantime, he assumed himself a "human rights defender", tried to make the Falun Gong issue internationalized and acted against his own motherland with the help of foreigners by stigmatizing Chinese government's legal action of banning on Falun Gong as "infringing on human right" or "interfering freedom of belief". A wave of anti-China action was thus surged.
What is human right? The basic rights and freedoms to which all humans are entitled according to the Constitution, including the right to life, health and education, freedom of thought, expression, press and religious belief are among the human rights to be maintained. For a nation, the basic right is its right to existence and development. Without the development and flourishing of China and improvement of Chinese people's living standard, any other rights of Chinese people will have no root.
Now let's compare what Li Hongzhi and his Falun Gong organization had done with our achievement in fighting against the cult organization. I'm sure the readers will have a clear idea as to which party stands for justice.
I. Falun Gong infringes upon the right to national development
The right to existence and development are the essential human rights. Only by development and strengthen its comprehensive national power and improvement of its people's living standard can a nation achieve its existence, development and safeguard any other basic rights of its people. Therefore we shall develop our education, science and culture so that the overall ideological, cultural and ethical cultivation of Chinese people can be further improved by mastering the scientific world-view and methodology as well as knowledge in modern science. Li Hongzhi and his "Falun Dafa" are in fact contradictory with such a social trend.
On the one hand, Li Hongzhi denounced modern science, saying, "Humankind's modern science has in fact developed on a wrong foundation, with a wrong understanding of the universe, humankind, and life. That's why in the world of cultivation we cultivators don't agree with today's science at all and think that it's a mistake." (Falun Fofa-Teaching the Fa in the United States). He even called white black as saying that science is "not upright" and discouraged people to learn modern science. On the other hand, he boasted "Falun Dafa" to be the "universal law" and "highest science", saying, "Nothing is as profound as 'Falun Dafa'. Of all teachings in the world it is the most wondrous and highest science." He claimed that "truth, compassion and forbearance" is "the basic Buddhist Law(or Fofa)" and "the nature of the universe" while all natural and social phenomena are nothing but "a different discourse at different levels" of "truth, compassion and forbearance", and that everything is made of "truth, compassion and forbearance"-"Air particles, stone, wood, soil, steel, the human body - all matter has the nature of 'truth, compassion and forbearance'". (Zhuan Falun). He ordered Falun Gong practitioners to study, copy and recite his books. He not only asked the practitioners to study Falun Gong in person or collectively but also held "Fa conferences" to exchange experience in study. He promoted Changchun experience in the book "Explaining the Content of Falun Dafa" by saying that "they sit down and start to study, and they don't need the book - one person recites the book by memory from the beginning, then he stops and another person continues to recite, without making a mistake, and no single word is wrongly recited as they continue to recite. Then it continues, you recite a paragraph, he recites a paragraph, and people go on reciting like this. Later on they start to copy the book by hand. When they make a mistake they start all over again - they copy the book from the very beginning again." That is the way by which the Falun Gong organization attempted to replace the righteous modern science with Li Hongzhi's fallacies and have brainwash and spiritual control over Falun Gong practitioners.
In the early stages when Li Hongzhi launched his Falun Gong, he did puff that practicing Falun Gong could help to "keep healthy and fit", and had pretended to "heal" others by "sending out Gong". A lot of Falun Gong practitioners were thus trapped by the alleged function of Falun Gong in healing and keeping fit. It should be noted that in the early stages, he had claimed that "Falun Dafa" was "not Qigong at the lower level of healing and fitness" and that only practicing movement was not "Falun Dafa". He even debased those who only practiced movement while didn't "study Fa" as "spreading unrighteous Fa". He insisted that "Falun Dafa" "emphasized on cultivating character" and "cultivation should be primary". According to him, "cultivation" meant "studying Fa", and "studying Fa" meant reading his books, watching his "Fa teaching" video tapes and listening to his "Fa teaching" audio tapes. In this way, Li Hongzhi brainwashed the Falun Gong practitioners with his fallacies and thereby the Falun Gong practitioners were completely controlled by Li Hongzhi and his fallacies without their own thought or judgment, becoming nothing but tools used by Li Hongzhi and the cult organization. The allegation that "practicing Falun Gong" could help to "keep healthy and fit" was nothing but a coat and bait of Falun Gong used to trap people into the organization.
Since the beginning of practicing Falun Gong, many practitioners spent much time and energy in reading Li Hongzhi's books, watching and listening to his tapes while left along their study or work. Many practitioners neglected dissuasion from their family members, relatives and friends, thinking that others were ordinary people with too much karma power or even under the driving of "demons" from other spaces to wave their belief on "Falun Dafa". Therefore they neglected kinship and friendship. This caused much disharmony in many families and among people. Many people were convinced by Li Hongzhi that human beings had reached a critic point in moral, and that the earth was full of "evil" and the world would soon "explode". Since they thought it right for them not to take on any responsibility for the society and "leave" such an evil place by cultivating and promoting their levels so that they might reach "Buddhahood" and achieve nirvana, they cared about nothing else but Falun Gong and were cold to other people as well as things happened around. Many Falun Gong practitioners were obsessed in Li Hongzhi's fallacies and took them as "the highest universal truth" and Li Hongzhi as "the highest god in the universe". They dared not show their slightest irreverence towards Li Hongzhi. They even dared not call Li Hongzhi's name for fear that they might be punished and "died out in both shape and spirit". Since Li Hongzhi and his fallacies had completely dominated them, the Falun Gong practitioners just surrendered to Li Hongzhi and Falun Gong and were even willing to die for them. In order to "protect Fa", some practitioners disregarded social stability and national laws and illegally participated in besieging news institutions and government bodies. They even felt glorified instead of ashamed of such deeds, believing that they were enduring "test" and promoting their "levels". The seriously poisoned Falun Gong practitioners were so obsessed in Li Hongzhi's fallacies and addicted to the isolated environment created by Falun Gong that they completely lost their judgment as to right and wrong, good and bad, righteous and evil. As a result, some of them were muddled, some mentally disordered, some committed suicide, some participated in illegal activities and some even committed crimes.
Since teenagers were maturing both physically and mentally with little social experience, if they were enticed to practice Falun Gong and thereby obsessed in Li Hongzhi's fallacies, they might be injured fatally both physically and mentally. For instance, Li Ting, a student under the age of 18, killed his parents while he was in mental disorder for having practiced Falun Gong. Before practicing Falun Gong, Li Ting had been a good boy in a happy family. In 1997, as Li Ting didn't pass the entrance examination for the key middle school, the regretful boy began to practice Falun Gong for curiosity as he saw people practicing Falun Gong in the park. As he gradually got lost in Falun Gong and Li Hongzhi's fallacies, he became mentally disordered and eventually had heteroptics and hallucination, claiming that he had "opened the third eye" and could see "burning fire balls". When Li Ting's mother found her son in mental disorder, she took him to Beijing to have him diagnosed and treated in Beijing Psychiatric Hospital. Li Ting, however, insisted that he was not sick and would not see doctor. He thought that he had "understood the universal truth" and had become "Buddha" while his parents were "demons that must be wiped out" so that "the demons could turn to be Buddha". In the early hours of March 20, 1999, Li Ting killed his parents with a dagger while they were still in sound sleep. Li Hongzhi and his Falun Gong organization had not only put an end to the bright future of the teenager Li Ting, but also made a murder case and destroyed a happy family.
Such retroactive activities of Li Hongzhi and Falun Gong cult are against humanity and humans' pursuit of truth in that they poisoned people spiritually, making them abandon the passion to real life in their pursuing of an illusory "Falun realm". In addition, it disrupted social stability and endangered national interest. It is indeed quite a tragedy to a nation with millions of people lost in superstitious and fatuous spiritual state. If the kind of "magnificent scene" of "consummation" envisaged by Li Hongzhi really happens, tragedies of people being murdered by cults in other regions will emerge in China as well. Li Hongzhi said at the Fa Conference in Europe, "I also want to bring humankind a magnificent scene at the time of your Consummation." "Have all Dafa disciples, regardless of whether they need bodies or not, elevate their bodies into the sky and then fly away; those who don't need bodies will have their bodies go through Light-Transformation in the air. This will create a glory that's never existed before in history, leaving human beings a profound lesson. People don't believe in gods, so let gods truly manifest before people."(Falun Fofa:Teaching the Fa at the Fa Conference in Europe). Anyone with common sense could imagine how horrible it might be if that really happened. If we let Falun Gong spread in this way, China as well as the Chinese nation would certain get lost in such a laggard and fatuous abyss that Chinese people would have no bright future but gloomy and suffering destiny.
II. Falun Gong infringes upon right to health
The essential component for human rights is the right to life. Without health, life will certainly be affected or even perish. Without life, any other right will certainly be rootless. Li Hongzhi's "Falun Dafa", especially the fallacy of "eliminating karma" tramples on people's right to health and life.
The fallacy of "eliminating karma" is an important part of Li Hongzhi's fallacies and a key instrument and spiritual narcotics used by Li Hongzhi to control the Falun Gong practitioners. Li Hongzhi said that illness and misfortune of people are caused by karma-"The root cause of their problem and all their misfortune is karma, that black-matter karmic field…That's the root cause of people's health problems. It's the chief source of them…Birth, old age, illness and death, all have causes from the past and are karmic retribution. If you owe a debt you have to pay it off."(Zhuan Falun). According to Li Hongzhi, if you are ill, that means you are eliminating your karma. If you take medicine, "karma forces" will be suppressed and you won't be able to "eliminate karma" or "promote to higher levels"-"You're the one who suffered a lot, so your own karma will get transformed. You paid the price, so however much you've borne, that's how much gets transformed, and it all turns into virtue…All your attachments, as long as you have them, all have to be worn down in different settings…If you're attached to those things you won't be able to finish your cultivation." (Zhuan Falun). That means if you want to "eliminate karma" or to "promote to higher levels", you have to wear down your such "attachment" as having medical treatment- "if you take medicine, 'karma forces' will be suppressed, then how to get rid of the bad stuff in your body? … Gong of the practitioners will automatically eliminate virus and karma." Li Hongzhi preached such "eliminating karma" fallacy everywhere and instructed the Falun Gong organization to fabricate various false reports and stories to fool the Falun Gong practitioners by indicating that practicing Falun Gong had magic power in healing and keeping fit. Among the 1400 Falun Gong related murder cases, there are many people who ruined their own right to life as they refused to have medical treatment. And still more people delayed in having treatment in this way. The following cases surely have some warning effects to us:
Zhang Yuqin, a retired worker from Jiangsu Qidong Garment Factory, began to practice Falun Gong in October 1995. As she was convinced by Li Hongzhi that illness was "caused by karma" and that "being ill is indeed eliminating karma" she refused to have medical treatment and finally collapsed mentally in insupportable ailment. On January 23, 1998, Zhang cut her carotid and died in the toilet for excessive loss of blood.
Bai Changyu (62), a retired section chief geologist at a coalmine in Fushun City Liaoning province, began to practice Falun Gong in 1997. As he was convinced by Li Hongzhi that "being ill is indeed eliminating karma", Bai refused his children's advice to have medical treatment when he was sick. In April 1999, when his illness got more serious, he still refused to see doctor. His wife who was also a Falun Gong practitioner, said: "practicing 'Falun Gong' can cure diseases. You must be strong enough to survive." Meanwhile, she held a book of Falun Gong, saying, "You see, Li Hongzhi is just beside you, helping you to eliminate karma and have a reborn. And you will be all right in a month." On April 28, his children sent him to a hospital, where he still refused medical treatment. He died on May 3.
Zhang Heru, a Falun Gong fanatic from Hufang Rd, Xuanwu District, Beijing, began to practice Falun Gong in 1996. In June 1998, while her disease got more serious and she could not eat but vomiting frequently, she refused to have medical treatment, saying, "the master is eliminating karma for me and I will recover as long as I endure this." On September 26, as she could not endure any longer, she was sent to hospital. It was diagnosed that she had mid and last term of intestines cancer. She died then due to delayed medical treatment for 105 days.
Li Hongzhi's fallacies are nothing but nonsense utterly against science, of which Li Hongzhi himself is quite aware. Li Hongzhi and his family members did take medicine, and he himself had a vermiform appendix excising operation as well. Li Hongzhi had his own ambition in fabricating such fallacies.
It seems to be their voluntary behavior for those Falun Gong practitioners to refuse to have medical treatment. Their voluntary behaviors, however, were a manifestation of their losing of self-awareness due to the spiritual control of Li Hongzhi and his "Falun Dafa". Li Hongzhi was in fact the chief criminal while the practitioners were just the victim of Li Hongzhi and his "Falun Dafa".
What is most flagrant is that Li Hongzhi stigmatized those Falun Gong practitioners died from his fallacies to be "demons interference with Dafa". In the book "Explaining the Content of Falun Dafa", Li Hongzhi said, "This type of demons are most difficult to recognize, and they're capable of doing major damage. They come to learn Falun Dafa as others…Then all of a sudden they die or all of a sudden they go down the opposite path, and damage Falun Dafa this way." It could be learnt that such a "master" who boasts to be "truth, compassion and forbearance" is not a human rights defender but a merciless and brutal wizard or witch doctor; the "Falun Dafa" he preachs is not good medicine for the world but spiritual poison; and Falun Gong is a large cancer to the society.
III. Falun Gong infringes upon the right to life
Just like other cult ringleaders, Li Hongzhi tried to apotheosize himself and boasted that he had supernatural "function" so as to deceive the public and realize his ambition. The fallacies such as "opening the Third Eye", "planting Falun" and "Law Body protection" are among the "functions" of this cult ringleader and the tools that he used to fool and control the Falun Gong practitioners. Such fallacies may make people mentally sick and even deprive the Falun Gong practitioners and other innocent people of their right to life.
Li Hongzhi boasted that he could "open the Third Eye" for others. In "Zhuan Falun", he said, "When we talk about 'opening the Third Eye', it's about bypassing your optic nerves and opening a passageway between your eyebrows, which makes it possible for your pineal gland to see outside directly…People with a high-level Third Eye can penetrate our dimension to see other space-times, and they can see scenes that ordinary people can't. People who aren't at a high level might have the ability to see through things, they might be able to see through walls to look at things, or see inside the human body." He further said, "Ordinary people can hardly practice opening the Third Eye. Most of them were done by the master." By this it meant that it would be him to "open the Third Eye" for the Falun Gong practitioners. Modern science proves that pineal gland is endocrine gland instead of visual sense organ. Since visual sense generates from the image of an object that is reflected in our eyes and impressed on the pallium through the optic nerves, "opening the Third Eye" is nothing but a tale of a tub.
Li Hongzhi boasted that he could "plant Falun" at the lower abdomen of the Falun Gong practitioners. In "Zhuan Falun" and other books, he alleged that "Falun" was a "miniature of the universe", an "intelligent being that can automatically absorb and give off energy in the universe". He said, "So when the Falun rotates inward, it saves oneself, and when it rotates outward, it saves others…one feature of Falun Dafa is that Falun can save oneself as well as others." He deliberately mystified in saying that "The Falun is an intelligent being. We have formed it only after going through so many generations of people. In the past it was passed on from generation to generation through a single disciple, and it has never been passed to outsiders. In this special historic environment, I have now brought it out in the open to pass on to people."(Explaining Zhuan Falun), and that "This Falun is extremely precious, priceless in fact. For a person who lacks a predestined connection, no matter how many hundreds of millions he spent, he still couldn't buy it…it is even higher than your life."(Lecture in Sydney). He alleged, "The Falun that I plant in a practitioner's lower abdomen rotates constantly, twenty-four hours a day. (True practitioners can acquire a Falun by reading my books, watching my talks on video, listening to my talks on audiocassette, or studying with Dafa students.) The Falun helps practitioners cultivate automatically. That is, the Falun cultivates practitioners at all times even though they don't perform the exercises." (Falun Fofa- Law of Great Consummation). In fact, "Falun" is just a kind of diagram patched up by Li Hongzhi by embezzling Taiji diagram of Taoism and Swastikas of Buddhism. It is not an "entity", not to mention any "intelligent being". Li Hongzhi could never plant any "Falun" in anyone. The allegation of "planting Falun" is also a tale of a tub.
Li Hongzhi boasted that he had countless "Law Bodies" that could protect the Falun Gong practitioners. He lied that "I am the only one in the world who have Law Bodies…I have numerous Law Bodies who look the same as me. Their wisdom is completely opened with the same power of Fa like that of a Buddha. The main body is here with me, and they have the ability to do things independently. They will look after you, protect you, help you transform Gong, and do certain things. In fact, they are the embodiment of my wisdom. Therefore, I am able to safeguard you…Because I have mentioned that each word in this book (refers to Zhuan Falun) has my Law Bodies, every word is the image of my Law Body and every word is the image of a Buddha. I have numerous Law Bodies, which cannot be calculated by numbers...No matter how many people there are, I can take care of all of them, and I can take care of the entire mankind…Therefore, if you practice cultivation, the moment you have that thought, my Law Body will know it." (Lecture in Sydney). The term "Law Body" comes from Buddhism, meaning a personification of Buddha Law preached by Sakyamuni. It is shapeless and countless, signifying spirit and order of Buddhist doctrine. Li Hongzhi distorted the original meaning of Law Body and had it to preach his fallacies in an aim of fooling the public. Li Hongzhi himself is clear that he had no "Law Body" at all. When the Chinese government issued the hue and cry, he had to take refuge in a foreign country. How could he protect others if he could not protect himself?
However, such fallacies and trickeries of Li Hongzhi poisoned a lot of Falun Gong practitioners and caused a lot of tragedies that brought misfortunes to individuals, families and the society in that many Falun Gong practitioners became mentally disordered and had self-mutilation, committed suicide or committed crimes.
Gao Encheng (male, 42), official of an industrial and commercial administrative office in Tianbai Township, Kaixian County, Chongqing, began to practice Falun Gong in November 1997. After that, he gradually became withdrawn and uncommunicative. He firmly believed that he could "open the Third Eye" and have "Three Flowers Atop the Head" after practicing Falun Gong for some time, and that his soul would go to Heaven after his death. On November 2, 1998, he withdrew all his savings from the bank and gave them to his daughter by his ex-wife, his parents and his mother-in-law, saying that he had become immortal. He told other people that he had dreamt that his wife Li Xiaofen had been a snake in her previous life. Later, on the morning of November 6, he said to others that his thinking had reached the summit after one year's practice of "Falun Gong", and only his son, Gao Xiong, understood him properly and that he did not want to talk to mortals. After that, he went back home, and again practiced "Falun Gong" for some time. Then he jumped from the roof of the building, holding his son Gao Xiong in his arms. A doctor was sent for, but his wife refused to let him treat her husband, saying that Li Hongzhi would protect him. Gao died, but his son was rescued by emergency treatment.
Xie Li (female), a teacher in the attached school of Chongqing Steel (Group) Ltd, began to practice Falun Gong in October 1997 with a dream of healing and keeping fit since she had heart disease. Xie Li was later obsessed in Li Hongzhi's fallacies and had heteroptics and hallucination. On January 27, 1997, she abruptly told her family that she had "opened the Third Eye" and "I see Master Li Hongzhi is summoning me in heaven". She then became mentally disordered and kept mumbling, without eating anything in the next three days. In the midday of January 29, Xie Li jumped from the balcony on the tenth floor while her husband Zhou An didn't noticed. In fluster, Zhou An seized only a sleeve of his wife's clothes and helplessly saw her drop to the ground, died.
Ma Jianmin, a retired worker from the Huabei Oilfield in north China, was often in a trance and became distraught after two years of practicing Falun Gong. Ma insisted that he had a "Falun" in his stomach. On September 4, 1998, Ma died at home after he cut his abdomen with a pair of scissors to look for the so-called wheel of law.
These are only several cases about Falun Gong practitioners who became mentally disordered and committed suicide because of Li Hongzhi's fallacies. From these stories, we can certainly understand the nature of Li Hongzhi and the Falun Gong cult organization in trampling on humanity and human rights.
IV. Falun Gong infringes upon right to freedom of speech and press
Freedom to speech and press is a basic right entitled to humans by the Constitution and an important part of human rights. What Li Hongzhi and his Falun Gong organization had done trampled on such a principle. On the one hand, Li Hongzhi and his Falun Gong organization did all they could to abuse such right by illegally publishing Li Hongzhi's books and tapes, holding classes and conferences to spread Li Hongzhi's fallacies. On the other hand, they unscrupulously trampled such a principle by infringing on others of their freedom on speech and press. They didn't allow others to have different opinion or criticize Li Hongzhi or "Falun Dafa". They didn't allow the news media to publish articles that criticized them. Any criticizing against Li Hongzhi and Falun Gong was stigmatized as "demons' interference with Dafa". They instigated Falun Gong practitioners to stigmatized and denounce people who dared to criticize them, to besiege the government bodies and news media in the name of "protecting Fa".
Since it emerged, Li Hongzhi's Falun Gong has been denounced and to some degree rejected. In order to have the practitioners stick to Falun Gong and suppress others, Li Hongzhi distorted the original meaning of the term "the mara path co-existing and mutually restraining" and fabricated the fallacy of "demon interfering with Dafa". In July 1996, the Press and Publications Administration issued a circular to ban sales of five Falun Gong related books, including "Zhuan Falun" and others. Guangming Daily then published an article revealing Falun Gong, which caused panic in Li Hongzhi and the Falun Gong organization. Neglected the legal regulation of the Administration, they not only ordered Falun Gong practitioners to "stand the test" by saying "don't be afraid. Your body can still sit there for mediation even if your head loses", but also organized, plotted and directed activities against the government, including a lot of incidents organized by Falun Gong in besieging government bodies and news media.
According to an incomplete statistics, Li Hongzhi and Falun Gong have instigated more than 300 illegal gatherings targeted at besieging news media and government departments, 78 cases of which has more than 300 people participated in. The 4.25 incident that was plotted by Li Hongzhi and his Falun Gong organization in which 10,000 people besieged Zhongnanhai, the location of the Central Government, for example, is an illegal incident that is anti-freedom, anti-democracy, anti-human rights, anti-science, anti-social and anti-government, against which Li Hongzhi and his followers intentionally said it was "for justice", and certain foreign "human rights defenders" wrongly claimed that it was "peaceful petition" or "peaceful demonstration". The direct cause for 4.25 incident is an article entitled "I' m Opposed To Qigong Practice By Teenagers" by Professor He Zuoxiu of the Chinese Academy of Sciences that was published on "Teenager Science-Technology Outlook", a Tianjin Normal University magazine. In the article, the author mentioned Falun Gong when he proposed his view on teenagers' practicing Qigong in the way of objective explaining facts and arguments. It is such an unknown magazine targeted at the teenagers and such an article written by an academician of Chinese Academy of Science in an aim of educating the teenagers with science that has stirred up the Li Hongzhi and Falun Gong organization - who boasted to be "truth, compassion and forbearance"- to have deceived, instigated and organized more that 6000 Falun Gong practitioners to besiege the office building of the magazine for 5 days from April 19 to 23. They rootlessly asked the magazine to restore fame for Li Hongzhi and Falun Gong; to have the author as well as the editor answer for it; to call back the sold magazines; to stop distributing the magazines and to deliver a statement on the magazine to apologize Li Hongzhi and Falun Gong. It could be learnt from this story that Li Hongzhi and his Falun Gong organization did not allow for any freedom of speech at all and that the kind of "freedom" sought by them were just freedom for them to do what they want to.
The government has been quite restraint with such illegal activities and tried to dissuaded the demonstrators. Right at that time, Li Hongzhi flew back to China from U.S to plot secretly for a scaling up of the incident. More than ten thousand blindfolded Falun Gong practitioners from areas such as Hebei, Liaoning, Shandong, Heilongjiang, Anhui, Tianjin and Beijing were instigated to have gathered in Beijing in just one night, and have made the shocking 4.25 incident by besieging Zhongnanhai, the government compound. 4.25 incident was a rehearsal of Li Hongzhi's ambition in toppling the government. Li Hongzhi and his conspirators thought that they were strong enough to realize their folly conspiracy. Their besieging Zhongnanhai was meant to impose Li Hongzhi's fallacies on Chinese people, replacing their guiding theory-Marxism, Leninism, philosophy thoughts of Mao Ze-dong and Deng Xiao-ping; to impose the cult ringleader Li Hongzhi on Chinese people as their spiritual leader, replacing Chinese Communist Party with Li Hongzhi and his Falun Gong organization. It is indeed unprecedented among the incidents of world cults. In fact, Li Hongzhi and his Falun Gong organization had overestimated themselves and underestimated the Chinese Communist party and the Chinese people. By doing this, they finally shot themselves in the foot. With their real face revealed to the public, their predeterminate failure is to come.
Both democracy and freedom are part of the superstructure that serve for the economic foundation. Democracy and freedom are the means instead of objective. In socialist countries like China, leaders of the organizations that are against the leadership of CCP, against Marxism, Leninism and socialist system, jeopardizing the fundamental interest of the country as well as its people shall never be entitled with such freedom. Banning on Falun Gong, the Chinese government is determined to ensure the basic right of the majority, social stability and the fundamental nation interest.
V. Falun Gong infringes upon the freedom of religious belief
The Chinese Communist Party is a proletariat party based on Marxism and Leninism. Dialectical Materialism and Historical Materialism of Marxism and Leninism are of thorough antitheism. Marxism and Leninism not only properly demonstrate the nature, origin and social role of religion, but also suggeste the right altitude and policy that should be taken in regard to religion. Based on the Marxist philosophy on religion-a scientific viewpoint and method for us to understand religion and the specific situation in China, the Chinese government has developed the Policy on Freedom of Religious Belief-a fundamental long-term policy on treating and addressing religious issues. By wantonly trampling on the principle of freedom of religious belief and debasing other religions, Li Hongzhi and his Falun Gong organization dreamt of having people to abandon their religious belief and convert to the Falun Gong cult, so as to make conflicts and troubles among people with different belief.
Although claimed that "Falun Dafa" was not religion, Li Hongzhi compared "Falun Dafa" with religions over and over again, saying, "the existing religions cannot save people from torment any more", while "Falun Dafa is the only highest Buddhist law", "universal law" and "the only ladder that help people to heaven". He even boasted that "Falun Dafa is a magnificent palace while Christianity is just a very small, simple room", and that "he is the highest hierarch much wiser than Sakyamuni, Jesus Christ, Laozi and other founders of religions". In order to make people who believed in any other religions convert to his "Falun Dafa", Li Hongzhi said, "I tell you this because I'm afraid you may be led astray by the religions that cannot relieve people from their torment." (Falun Fofa: Teaching the Fa in the First Fa Conference in North America). In such trickeries, Li Hongzhi and his Falun Gong organization glorified a swindler like Li Hongzhi as a new supreme savior and a supreme god with "super theurgy", countless "Law Bodies" and supernatural functions that dictated the human beings as well as the universe for "having comprehended the universal truth and secret of life and being able to predict everything." After such efforts of apotheosizing, Li Hongzhi ordered the Falun Gong practitioners to regard his words as "lection" and worship him as a hierarch, making the practitioners dare not even directly call his name, a way similar to that of the dark, fatuous and religious authority dominated middle ages. In the Falun Gong organization, practitioners were only entitled with the Freedom of worshiping Li Hongzhi, believing his fallacies other than any religious belief.
Li Hongzhi and his "Falun Dafa" was particularly hostile to material and antitheism. He said, "If you're against science, although it won't kill you, people will rise up together to attack you. Everyone will say you're 'superstitious' and ridiculous. It will devalue you in society to be worthless…Since science can't prove the existence of gods or the existence of virtue, and since it doesn't know about karmic retribution, when you mention these things people will strike at you with this big club - science - and say you're 'superstitious'."(Falun Fofa:Teaching the Fa at the Fa Conference in Europe). Since Marxist materialism and antitheism co-existed with science, Li Hongzhi would certainly be denounced by the antitheists as long as he boasted to be a new supreme savior. Li Hongzhi surely didn't want to see that happened, therefore he instigated Falun Gong practitioners with any possible lies and trickeries to act against Marxist materialism and antitheism.
The freedom of religious belief means the freedom to choose believing or disbelieving in religion; the freedom of believing in this religion or other religion; the freedom of believing in certain rites in one religion and; the freedom to stop believing in religion. Based on such principles, it can be concluded that words and actions of Li Hongzhi and his Falun Gong organization have infringed upon human freedom of religious belief instead of defending the principle of religious belief freedom. Therefore it is justified to ban on Falun Gong and disclose Li Hongzhi's fallacies in pursuing the principle of ensuring freedom of religious belief and fully implementing the policy on freedom of religious belief.
To conclude, Li Hongzhi and his Falun Gong trampled on human rights and endangered the fundamental interest of the nation as well as its people, which already caused serious consequence to people, the society and the nation. Crimes and evil deeds of the Falun Gong organization were no less harmful than any other foreign cults. If no action is taken to outlaw Falun Gong but let it freely develop and expand, the future of China as well as its people will certainly be dimmed and the fruit of decades of Chinese economic development will vanish. If that happens, how can Chinese people's human rights be ensured? After the 4.25 incident, Chinese government developed proper policies and took balanced measures in disclosing and banning on Falun Gong based on the facts of illegal activities of Li Hongzhi and his Falun Gong organization revealed through abundant investigations. In this struggle, the Party and the Government had a clear distinction on the two kinds of conflicts by screening cult ringleaders and its core members with the majority Falun Gong practitioners. As for those obsessed diehards and some practitioners who have offended the law, we have done a lot of painstaking work in light of the guideline of "uniting the majority, educating the majority, converting the majority and relieving the majority", so that the majority Falun Gong practitioners have recognized the true feature of Li Hongzhi and his Falun Gong and have eventually cast off the cult. Only the few core members who have seriously violated the law and those plotters and wire-pullers with ulterior motives are relentlessly punished. The Government's banning on Falun Gong is a kind of justified action in maintaining integrity of the Constitution and the legal system, ensuring social stability, guaranteeing security of all Chinese people, including the majority Falun Gong practitioners and their fundamental interest, and defending human rights.
The eventual victory of this struggle would certainly witness Chinese people improving in their understanding of scientific materialism and antitheism as well as their understanding of cult; witness an improvement in Chinese socialist material civilization and spiritual civilization; and contributing a lot to defending human rights. Any unbiased people will draw such a right conclusion.
